ROBIN Privacy Policy

Effective version: 2026-07-24

This Privacy Policy explains how ROBIN ("ROBIN", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use robin.gallery and related services (the "Services").

1. Who this applies to

This Policy applies to visitors, account holders, and anyone who uses the Services. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account and profile

When you sign up or manage your account, we may collect:

  • name
  • email address
  • password (stored as a secure hash; we do not store plaintext passwords)
  • profile image, if you provide one
  • creative role or preferences you choose in the product
  • records that you accepted the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, including version and timestamp

2.2 Session and security

To keep you signed in and protect accounts, we may collect:

  • session tokens
  • IP address
  • browser / user-agent information
  • approximate timestamps of authentication events

2.3 Product usage

When you use ROBIN, we process:

  • chat messages and prompts you send to producer agents
  • generation settings (for example mode, duration, and related parameters)
  • credit balances, ledger entries, plan status, and grant / spend history
  • generated audio metadata and file references
  • downloads and related product actions needed to operate the Services

2.4 Payments

If you buy a subscription or credit pack, payment card data is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). ROBIN does not store full card numbers. We may store:

  • Stripe customer ID
  • subscription / price identifiers
  • subscription status and current period end
  • limited invoice or checkout metadata needed for entitlements and support

2.5 Cookies and similar technologies

We use:

  • Necessary cookies / local storage for authentication, session continuity, security, and essential UI preferences (for example cookie-consent choice and sidebar state).
  • Analytics cookies only if you opt in through the cookie banner or preferences. Analytics are off by default. You can change this later from the site footer.

2.6 Information from providers

Our infrastructure and AI providers may process technical logs (errors, request metadata) that are needed to run and debug the Services.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create and secure accounts
  • provide chat, music generation, credits, and downloads
  • enforce plan limits and prevent abuse
  • process payments and manage subscriptions
  • show and improve product reliability
  • communicate about your account, security, and service changes
  • comply with law and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI processing

Prompts, chat context, and related inputs may be sent to third-party AI / music-generation providers (for example model and audio APIs) solely to operate the co-production features you request. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies as subprocessors of the Services.

Do not submit sensitive personal data in prompts unless you are comfortable with that processing.

5. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate ROBIN, including with:

  • Hosting / app infrastructure (for example Vercel)
  • Database hosting for application data
  • Authentication providers used by our auth stack
  • Object storage for generated audio files (for example Vercel Blob)
  • AI / music generation providers
  • Payment processing (Stripe)
  • Email / transactional providers, when enabled for account messages
  • Professional advisors or authorities when legally required

We may also disclose information to protect ROBIN, our users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

6. International transfers

ROBIN may process data in countries other than yours (including where our providers operate). Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms and provider contractual protections.

7. Retention

We retain account, chat, credit, and generation records for as long as your account is active and as needed to:

  • provide the Services
  • maintain security and audit trails
  • meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
  • resolve disputes

You may request account deletion by contacting us. Some records may remain in backups or logs for a limited period, or where we must keep them by law.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to / restrict certain processing.

You can:

  • update basic account details in the product where available
  • withdraw analytics cookie consent from the footer cookie preferences
  • cancel a paid subscription through the billing / Stripe customer portal when available
  • contact us to request account deletion or privacy help

We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

9. Children

ROBIN is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the Services (access controls, encrypted transport, hashed passwords, least-privilege provider access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Third-party links and producer pages

The Services may link to third-party sites or reference producers and partners. Their privacy practices are their own. This Policy covers ROBIN-controlled Services only.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective version identifier at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email when appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
