ROBIN Terms of Service
Effective version: 2026-07-24
These Terms govern your access to and use of the ROBIN platform, AI systems, subscriptions, digital products, downloadable content, and related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to ROBIN. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ROBIN. Users below the age of majority must obtain parental or guardian consent before making purchases.
3. Description of Services
ROBIN provides AI-powered music production tools, producer-inspired creative systems, educational content, downloadable assets, subscriptions, and related services. Features may change over time. Availability of any feature depends on your plan and what ROBIN currently offers.
4. User Accounts
Users may not share accounts, transfer accounts, circumvent restrictions, or engage in unlawful activity. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled and remain active until the end of the billing cycle. Fees, plan limits, and renewal timing are shown at checkout and in your account billing settings.
6. Credits System
Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may only be used within ROBIN. Credit grants, expirations, and consumption rules are described in the product pricing and credits documentation. Unused plan credits do not roll over unless ROBIN expressly says otherwise.
7. Refund Policy
Digital products, subscriptions, credits, and services are generally non-refundable except in limited circumstances required by applicable law or expressly offered by ROBIN.
8. License for Generated Audio and Digital Content
Subject to these Terms and your plan, ROBIN grants a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use audio and other digital content you obtain through the Services for commercial music use.
9. Non-Exclusive Nature of Content
ROBIN does not guarantee exclusivity of sounds, samples, generated outputs, or other content. Similar or identical outputs may be available to other users.
10. Permitted Commercial Use
Music incorporating ROBIN content may be commercially exploited, subject to these Terms and any plan-specific limits.
11. Prohibited Uses
Users may not:
- redistribute ROBIN content as standalone sample packs or competing libraries
- create derivative sample packs for redistribution
- scrape content from the Services
- train AI systems using ROBIN assets or outputs
- reverse engineer or abuse the Services
- use the Services for unlawful content or infringement
12. Content ID and Automated Rights Management
Users may not register ROBIN content in standalone or substantially unmodified form in Content ID or similar automated rights-management systems.
13. AI Systems
AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies and do not guarantee originality, uniqueness, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before commercial release.
14. User Inputs and Uploads
If you submit prompts, audio references, demos, stems, or other materials to the Services, you represent that you own or control all necessary rights to those materials and that your submission does not infringe third-party rights.
15. Limited License for Submitted Materials
You grant ROBIN a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to access, store, analyze, process, and use submitted materials solely to operate, secure, and improve the Services. Ownership of your submitted materials remains with you.
16. No Ownership Created by Feedback or Producer Interactions
Feedback, recommendations, co-production assistance, chat guidance, and producer-inspired interactions do not create ownership interests, publishing rights, master rights, royalty obligations, co-authorship claims, or producer credits unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement.
17. Ownership
ROBIN retains ownership of its platform, software, AI systems, branding, documentation, and downloadable product materials (excluding your own pre-existing materials and, subject to these Terms, your licensed use of generated outputs).
18. Producer Content
References to producers, artist names, likenesses, catalogs, or branding do not grant you rights to those names, likenesses, trademarks, or branding outside the ROBIN experience.
19. Templates, Presets, and Educational Content
Educational materials, tips, templates, and presets may not be resold or redistributed.
20. Third-Party Services
ROBIN may integrate with third-party providers such as payment processors, AI providers, analytics providers, and infrastructure vendors. Their terms may apply to their services.
21. Termination
ROBIN may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or to protect the Services or other users. You may stop using the Services at any time.
22. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROBIN DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
23. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROBIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; COPYRIGHT OR RIGHTS DISPUTES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS.
24. Modifications to Terms
ROBIN may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email when appropriate.
25. Governing Framework
These Terms shall be interpreted under generally applicable commercial and digital services principles, pending designation of a specific governing jurisdiction by ROBIN.
